Clinical Practice GuidelinesThese evidence-based clinical practice guidelines were developed with input from a wide array of medical specialties, nurses, and other allied health professionals where appropriate. Position Statements (UPDATED)Position statements are generated from within AAO-HNS/F committees. Once approved by the Academy or Foundation Board of Directors, they become official and are added to the existing position statement library. Clinical IndicatorsClinical Indicators for Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery are generated from within AAO-HNS/F committees. Clinical Indicators are not a substitute for the experience and judgment of a physician and are developed to enhance the physicians' ability to practice evidence-based medicine. |
