Nancy Snyderman, MD, NBC’s Chief Medical Editor Will Deliver Medical Ethics Lecture
to World’s Largest Gathering of ENT Doctors

September 16,2013 — Alexandria, VA — NBC’s Chief Medical Editor Nancy L. Snyderman, MD, will deliver the John Conley, MD Lecture on Medical Ethics during the Opening Ceremony at the 2013 Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO℠ of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNS/F).

“We’re very fortunate to have Dr. Snyderman speaking at this year’s Opening Ceremony. Not only is she an award winning journalist and a longtime active member of the Academy, she is also a dear friend to many of us,” said Dr. James L. Netterville, MD, president of the AAO-HNS/F.

Dr. Snyderman has reported from many of the world's most troubled areas and covered a wide range of topics. Her reports regularly appear on “TODAY,” “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams,” “Dateline NBC,” MSNBC, and MSNBC.com. Her presentation on Medical Ethics, “Conversations with Yourself: The Natural Metamorphosis of a Surgeon,” will honor the Lecture’s namesake. The Opening Ceremony will begin at 8:30 am on Sunday, September 29, in the West Ballroom AB of the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

The 2013 Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO will include more than 89 miniseminars, 360 instructional courses, 321 oral presentations and 397 poster presentations across all areas of otolaryngology—head and neck surgery.
