Corin Kinkhabwala, MD

Medical University of South Carolina, PGY-4

Since the undergraduate level, I have held both local, regional and national level leadership positions and I am very comfortable with maintaining balance between my clinical responsibilities and leadership roles. I currently serve as a local representative to the AAO-HNS from my institution, and this limited role has been deliberate thus far. As you can see from my AAO-HNS history, I have not applied until this year (PGY-5) to a more involved role. This is because I will have more time available to give to the SRF and provide a more active hand in the governing council. I am passionate about our specialty and believe I can help provide a positive impact in our community.

Previous/Relevant Experience: MUSC representative for the AAO-HNSF Section for Residents and Fellows; AAFPRS: Gender Affirmation Facial Surgery Committee. Medical University of South Carolina: Resident Career Advisory Council, and a Resident leader for the Student-Resident Mentorship Program. In addition, I was elected by hospital residents to serve on the Annual Program Evaluation Committee. As a medical student, I served on local and regional positions for the AMA.
