Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, PGY-4
Hello friends! My name is Pauline Huynh, and I am a PGY4 hailing from Northern California. I have had the privilege of serving on your SRF Governing Council this past year as the resident member on our AAOHNS Board of Governors, and would be honored to have the opportunity to serve you all again. This past year, I have had the honor of representing the trainee voice on issues of scope, education, and modes of practice–liaising not only between our AAOHNS and state groups through a grassroots network, but also with other organizations such as the AMA (where I now serve as the Immediate Past Chair for their Resident & Fellows Section). I’ve been able to leverage my experience not only with the AAOHNS, but also other leadership positions within organized medicine, to elevate concerns from our membership to the BOG as appropriate. I hope to continue leveraging and deepening the relationships that I’ve built with the rest of the BOG to ensure our concerns as a Section are heard.
